2020

The SFU Faculty of Psychology was represented at the “EB World Congress 2020” by DDr. Gudrun Salamon, who is leading the research project “Epidermolysis bullosa” at SFU, and by psychology students Alexander Rüberl and Laura Maar. As part of the “Best Clinical Posters” presented at the congress, the SFU received a poster award.

Felicitas Auersperg hielt am 27.11.2019 einen freien Vortrag in Berlin auf dem DGPPN Kongress 2019 mit dem Kongressmotto „Innovative Forschung für eine personenzentrierte Psychiatrie“. Thema des Vortrags: „Internetsucht im Kindes- und Jugendalter: Ein systematisches Review zu Präventionsmaßnahmen und protektive Faktoren“.

Dr. Birgit U. Stetina war vom 01.07. – 04.07.2019 auf der ISAZ 2019 in Orlando u.a. mit folgender Präsentation vertreten: „I won’t be afraid as long as you stand by me: Do dog owners evaluate critical life events less stressful?“. Eine Publikation zum Thema wird noch 2019 eingereicht; Dr. Stetina forscht hier gemeinsam mit Lisa Emmett und Christine Krouzecky vom Human-Animal-Interaction Forschungsteam an der SFU.


Lisa Emmett und Christine Krouzecky waren von 02.07.-05.07.2019 auf der ECP in Moskau. Frau Emmett hielt am 04.07. den Vortrag „Profiles of typical coping strategies in female dog trainers and vets“; Frau Krouzecky ebenfalls am 04.07. zum Thema „Black and White Thinking in Our Cross Species Relationships. „Black Dog Syndrome“ and Subjective Viewpoints on Relationship.“
