The university course “Psychosocial Counselling in Crisis and Trauma” was established at Sigmund Freud University Vienna in the winter semester 2013/2014.
The aim of the course is to acquire trauma-sensitive counselling and action competence in working with stressed, traumatised people or to supplement and expand already acquired skills with knowledge and “tools of the trade” from psychotraumatology, neurobiology, resilience research and crisis intervention.
