The university course “Sexual Education” was established at Sigmund Freud University in the academic year 2020/21.
Sexual education is understood as an offer for groups or individuals to deal with the topic of sexuality with a clear educational objective. The aim is to enable the connection of information and action levels. The implementation of pedagogical objectives in professional work with the topic of sexuality is made possible by sexual education didactics, which represents a special form of approach in group work. Sexuality education thus makes an important contribution to dealing with different topics in the context of sexuality.
